Ephraim Emanuel Gilkes is an accomplished business consultant, financial leader, and trusted advisor with more than 40 years of experience spanning finance, accounting, insurance, and business consulting. He brings deep operational insight and strategic clarity to Acct Core’s mission of helping businesses scale with confidence.
Ephraim began his career on the Audit Team at Deloitte & Touché, where he developed a strong foundation in financial controls, compliance, and reporting. He later founded Profit and Growth Financial Services, working with organizations across industries, including hospitality, healthcare, retail, and telecommunications, to strengthen financial systems, improve profitability, and support long-term growth.
As a seasoned Business Broker and Strategic Advisor, Ephraim has guided entrepreneurs through critical transitions such as buy-sell transactions, succession planning, and retirement strategies. He currently serves as President of G & E Management Consulting Agency and leads Texas Bookkeeping & Tax Solutions, LLC, bringing hands-on expertise in accounting operations, clean-up, reporting, and compliance.
In addition, Ephraim is an experienced Financial Services Professional, actively building an insurance agency focused on life, retirement, health, Medicare, and long-term care solutions, allowing him to advise clients with a truly holistic financial perspective.
Beyond his professional work, Ephraim is deeply committed to community leadership. He serves as The Rotary Foundation Chair for the Bellaire/Southwest Houston Rotary Club and Vice President of Membership for a local Toastmasters club. His service includes fundraising initiatives, mentorship, spiritual broadcasting, and operational support for community programs.

As Co-Founder of Acct Core, Liz leads the firm’s day-to-day operations, client experience, and scalable systems design.
With a background in financial operations, accounting management, and multi-entity business support, Liz has overseen millions of dollars in revenue operations, managed distributed teams, and built efficient back-office systems for growing companies across multiple industries.
Liz is known for her ability to bridge accounting, operations, and technology, helping clients move beyond basic bookkeeping into structured financial reporting, workflow automation, and decision-ready insights. Her expertise includes accounting clean-ups, systems integration, process documentation, and building modern finance infrastructures that support growth.
In addition to her accounting leadership, Liz is deeply involved in AI and emerging technology, focusing on practical applications that improve efficiency, visibility, and client outcomes, without overcomplicating operations.
